“Let no one stop you from regarding your life like a treasure, flawed but dear.”
— “In Your Own Hands”
Welcome!
“Nothing can obliterate the radiance this poet dares to imagine. She summons up life in all of its exquisite detail so that we might love it as much as she does.”
— Joyce Sutphen, former Minnesota Poet Laureate and author most recently of Paper Camera
Thank you for stopping by my website. Here you can sample my poetry, and learn more about me and my books. Contact me to ask about readings, to sign up for an original poem in your inbox each month, and for information on purchasing works.
A thread running through my life is my abiding interest in the human voice, as expressed in poetry, story, and song. Through poetry, I aspire to be an ambassador of hope, beauty, and connection, whether what surrounds us is darkness or light.
My new volume of poetry is now available from Nodin Press.
